The game is a typical Collectible Card Game (CCG) where users collect and curate cards in a unique way. The collected cards, which in this case feature Shiboshis, can drive competition among users in an engaging way.
The major CCG floated by the gaming protocol is Shiba Eternity, a game that opened in closed beta and is accessible only to LEASH holders. As a game with constant evolutionary traits, the developer team has teased a new version requiring users to abandon their old accounts. To aid easy migration, the core developers have published modalities to guide the transition and preserve the user’s holdings.
The Shiba Eternity Migration: Key Points To Note
As the update shared explains, the new Shiba Eternity system is better for users with enhanced features but accessible only with a new account. As a game title with in-game assets, users must understand that they cannot transfer their collectibles. However, a reward system is in place to compensate every user in a profitable way.
To give users a proper glimpse into the gifts they can expect, the Shiba Eternity team highlighted Kibble, XP Boosters, Card Packs, and Card Selector Tokens as distributable rewards.
Users who are rewarded with Kibble can use this for two purposes. These include buying card packs and new Shiboshis, which are very valuable. As a rule, users will only get as many Kibble as the Shiboshis they have unlocked in the old game.
XP Boosters will double the total XP that any user will rake in in their next 25 matches. Besides legendary cards, users who migrate to the new account will get some Card Packs equivalent to what they held before.
The Card Selector Tokens are useful in stacking cards used in the Shiba Eternity game. The legendary cards a user holds before migration will determine how many Card Selector Tokens they will receive after a successful switch.
The Shiba Eternity game is also designed to accommodate staking, another avenue that guarantees players passive income. Shibarium, which is set to harbor the game innovation, will help amplify the core visions of the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The Shibarium Readiness
The Shiba Inu ecosystem is passionate, and Shiba Eternity might receive a massive embrace. As noted in our earlier report, Shibarium has been preparing for massive adoption with a hard fork.
There are signs that Shibarium is ready for the new Shiba Eternity game as active users spiked by 450% as reported earlier in July.
Shiba Eternity and additional SHIB use cases are long-expected in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. However, the token’s price does not reflect this sentiment. Per data from MarketCap, SHIB is changing hands for $0.0000152, down by 2.67% in 24 hours.
