Ripple’s Moves: Logo Update, Stablecoin Launch, and SEC Lawsuit
Ripple’s logo update reflects its significant advancements in the digital currency sector amid an ongoing lawsuit with the SEC. XRP has shown strong community support, including a Change.org petition launched in October 2024 that has nearly 10,000 signatures urging the SEC to drop its appeal in the Ripple case.
The SEC’s appeal introduces uncertainty in the market, but investors hope it will be withdrawn, potentially leading to the approval of pending XRP ETF applications. Several asset managers like Bitwise, WisdomTree, 21Shares, and Canary Capital have already submitted applications.
